the traveler in me wanted to go somewhere and blow all our money, but i have a logical side, too. that side says i should save money, and i can still enjoy myself. i also have a husband that simply doesn't have a traveler side. ha ha :) that makes making these decisions a lot easier for my weaker logical side!
so, as my lovely friend carlee put it... we had a staycation!
we stayed in the lovely hotel wong. the accommodations were comfortable even tho the view stunk (two window wells) and it seems that only brennen gets room service. the price, however, was just right!
unlike our honeymoon we actually had a car. indeed we had two cars available for our use, and we did use both of them. let me tell you, driving in utah was better than walking and public transportation in san diego! tho, even tho we went to san diego in april, the weather was almost the same then as our staycation this past weekend.
we got up each day between 11 and noon (even on sunday, because church is at 1). well, brennen got up then, i got up earlier on thursday because i had a doctors appointment.
the only reason i mention that is because at the doctors appointment, i found i have a new friend inside of me!!
